We went to a Tennis Tournament at Royston Tennis club.
The children had a great time at the kwik cricket festival, learning new skills and playing against children in other local schools.
Our intra-house tag-rugby competition was won by the YELLOWS this year.

Today we had our annual Merry Multi Skills morning.
Once again Studlands Rise took part in the first round of the inter-schools cycling competition held at Roysia School this year. The children’s first race involved them completing as many laps as they could in 5 minutes and the second race was a 4 lap race.

Some of the Year 3 and 4 children took part in a Football Tournament hosted at Meridian School on 6th October.
The Sports Crew were voted in by their classmates at the beginning of the term.
After school, on Friday 1st July, 11 of our children took part in a BMX training session hosted by Royston Rockets and Cycle Club Ashwell.
On Tuesday 21st June the Year 3 and 4 children took part in an athletics taster session at Greneway middle school, run by the Y8 sports leaders.
The Year 4 children really enjoyed taking part in the Sports Hall Athletics at Meridian School.
Some of the children took part in a speed stacking competition against the other local first schools. They had a lot of fun!
All the KS1 and KS2 children had a great time at their Christmas parties.
We were visited by Wood Green Animal Shelter and we learnt a lot about how to care for different pets.
