Year Three Blog

Here are a few things that some of the children would like to say about being in Year 3 this term:

“I’m really enjoying being in Year 3. My best bit so far has probably been the maths, I really enjoy doing it and I’m getting confident. My favourite maths lesson has been on subtraction.” Isabel

“I’ve learnt lots about the Stone age, Bronze age and Iron age. Did you know when the Bronze age started, they also started making better clothes too?! My favourite lesson in Year 3 has been making the Stone age tools. I made a spear using a stone, sticks and wool and tape.” Jake

“I have really enjoyed learning about the Stone age. My favourite thing was making our own cave paintings. I used charcoal to draw hunters catching animals on mine. I’m also really enjoying the book in our literacy lessons called the Journey. I’m so happy to be back at school.” Sophie

“I really like my new big classroom. I’m enjoying my maths because I’m really good at it. I love PE, it’s fun being outside and learning about dodgeball.” Cameron
