Year Three Blog
We have started our new topic on settlements to get ready for our trip on Wednesday, where we will be able to look at how Anglo-Saxons lived.
During our PE lessons, we have learned rugby skills, as well as making dance and gymnastics routines between small groups.
We had a lot of fun with our World book day activities, as well as our Mother’s Day activity on Friday when we each created an excellent framed picture of our mums!
In Maths, we have been resilient in our learning about fractions and in Literacy we have enjoyed reading Robert Louis Stevenson’s poems.
For Science, we have discussed and observed light sources, finding out about light and reflection. We learned that the moon doesn’t produce light but only reflects it! We also found different examples of artificial and natural lights.
We are really looking forward to our trip on Wednesday and continuing all of our learning to come!
