Year Three Blog

They designed their own bow and arrow adverts and made their own cave paintings, as well as researching interesting facts about the way stone age people lived.

In Literacy, the children have written some fantastic poetry and descriptions. They performed their poems in class and memorised the poem “Bug Chant.” They particularly enjoyed the humour in the poem “When Daddy fell in the Pond.”

They have continued to learn more about rocks and soils in science and have completed soil comparisons and investigations into filtration.

In maths, the children have worked on the four calculations as well as statistics and fractions.
