Year Three Blog



We have started our swimming lessons – which we love, been to 2 sporting events (‘Schoolympics’ and a football festival) in addition to starting lots of new learning. We have all enjoying our learning in science and history this half term and we have also covered several units of work in our literacy and maths lessons. Along with the rest of the school we have also learnt about Harvest festival and Diwali. Here are some of the children’s comments about their learning this half term

 

“I have enjoyed the maths we have done this half term.” (Poppy)

 

“I enjoyed making my Diwali elephant using mendhi patterns.” (Jessica)

 

“In art we have been really creative.” (Hamish)

 

“I have enjoyed doing hockey with Mrs Hill.” (Fraser)

“I have enjoyed learning the recorder.” (Imogen)

 

“I started French horn lessons and I have enjoyed the lessons with Mr Leville.” (Tilly)

 

“I love golden hour”. (Seth)
