Sam: It’s fun and you get to compete against other people.

Darcy: It’s fun because you get to make new friends and you get fitter.

Georgia: I like sports day because you get to be with your brothers and sisters.

Oscar R: All that matters is taking part, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose.

Ava: I like sports day because you get ice-lollies.

Alfie: It is fun. It is also fun to run against other children.

Ben: It is fun and you get to eat really nice ice-lollies.

Emily: I like sports day because I got to compete in the Year 4 relay.

Aimee: I enjoyed the sack race because I used to always struggle on but now I have improved.

Isabella C: I enjoyed the sack race because it’s funny seeing people jump in the bag and fall over.

Oscar M: I really enjoyed sports day because the obstacle race was really fun and the bean bag kept falling off my head!

Rory: It was fun because you get to race against your friends and eat lollies at the end.

Harry: Sports day is the best because you get an ice-lolly at the end.

Zach: I like it because everyone gets a chance to win the trophy every year.

Ruby: It’s really funny when the adults do the incy-wincy spider race!

Blake: I like sports day because it’s fun and active.

Rhys: I like sports day because you get fitter and more energetic.

Roisin: Sports day was fun but challenging.

Luke: I like sports day because I like doing the flat races around the track.

Oscar W: I like sports day because your siblings get to be in the same team as you are!

Maizie: I like sports day because you get to eat ice-lollies and it’s all about taking part!

Iris: I like sports day because you get to do different races and you get to see the teachers and parents race!

Alice: I like sports day and the sack race because I got to pretend I am a bunny!

Alex: I like sports day because it’s all about having fun, getting more active and that’s what it’s all about!

Issy: I like sports day because you get to compete against your friends.

Edward: I like sports day because you get to jump over hurdles.

Matthew: I like sports day because it’s very competitive in the flat races.

Layla: I really enjoyed the hurdles because they are fun!
