Year Two Blog

We have continued with our Safari topic in Africa. We have learning about several famous people who have been too /lived in Africa such as Jane Goodall and David Attenborough.

We have then continued this topic in our Literacy learning, where we are currently in the process of making non-fiction books on the ‘Big Five’.

In D&T we have been experimenting with African food by making our own African Coleslaw as well as preparing our own African Fruit Salads.

Our healthy eating in D&T is also linked with our science this term, where the children are learning what animals and humans need to survive.

We cannot wait for more fun next half term too!
