Year Two Blog

In our science topic this term we are conducting an experiment into plants. The children have set up a fair test to see where plants will grow the best. The children have planted tomato seeds and placed them in different locations. The children have chosen to place some plants in the warm cloakroom, some in the dark cupboard and others outside.  We are awaiting to see the full results!

Our science topic coincides with a competition being run by Blue Peter.

The children have completed a series of pledges, that involve plants (growing our own), power (saving energy by switching electrical off when they are not in use), as well as plastic (using reusable water bottles). 

We have worked hard to achieve all of the pledges we have written and have sent off our Blue Peter application for a Green Climate Badge! We hope to find out soon if we will receive them…
