Year Two Blog



 

Isla: The Victorian teacher was very strict.

 

Ruby: We had to wear Victorian uniforms.

 

Kayla: The Victorian teacher liked to say “speech is silver and silence is golden.”

 

Josh: We got to write on a slate board and I got the cane!

 

Emily: I had to wear the dunce’s hat.

 

Faye: I liked the Victorian lesson because we learnt two new words which were denarius and strive.

 

Annaliese: The trip was very fun because I enjoyed the lesson.

 

Ewan: I liked the trip because we got to go in the headmaster’s house and we saw the Victorian toilets!

 

Louis: I liked our drill PE lesson.

 

Heather: I liked learning about Victorian money; it was very different to our money now.
