Year Two Blog

Five Year 2 teams (Studlands stingrays, sharks, snakes, zebras and rhinos) attended the football festival organised by Stevenage Football Club and Freman Sports Leaders.  The afternoon began with some skill work and then was followed by some games.  Miss Prior, our North East Herts School Games Organiser, informed the teams that she had seen exceptional examples of fair play, sharing, teamwork and encouragement from the children. She said “It was lovely to see so many students shaking hands at the end of each match, and praising each other during the medal celebrations.”
