Year One Blog

We looked at the lives and works of Sir David Attenborough, Jane Goodall and Nelson Mandela.

We have also really enjoyed our D&T aspect of Topic where we have made our own delicious fruit kebabs.

In Literacy, we used the story of ‘The Enormous Turnip’ to write newspaper reports about the event and we used the repeated refrains from the story ‘My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes’ to give a fabulous performance as part of our class assembly.

We have worked extremely hard in Maths recently where we have been solving lots of problems using money.

We are looking forward to seeing what fun we will be having in the Summer Term.
