Year One Blog
We started to learn about the country Kenya. We learned about National Parks, Game Reserves and the Maasai Mara tribe and have compared our culture to theirs.
We have continued our African theme into out art work where we have created wonderful patterns and amazing Maasai necklaces. We have really enjoyed making our 2D masks this week. We are going to be making 3D masks and African sunsets.
In Literacy, we have been reading the story ‘Stanley’s Stick’ and this week are going to be writing our own stories based on this.
