Year One Blog

Neil has written lots of stories and Year One agreed that ‘Itchy Bear’ was one of their favourites.

Neil told us lots of stories and he used acting to make it really exciting. Lots of grown-ups had to help us act the stories and we got to join in too! It was VERY funny, especially when the grown-ups had to wiggle their bottoms when they were pretending to be animals wagging their tails!

After school, Neil stayed so that we could buy some of his books and he also signed them for us to make them extra special.

Here is what some of us said about the day:

“There was funny stories” – Seth

“He did a story about a dog that couldn’t wag its tail”. – Hamish

“He did a story about a kangaroo and people got to dress up and be the characters” – Ellie

“I liked the acting and when they dressed up” – Beth

“I liked when my mum had to be a duck and wiggle her fluffy tail” – Dafydd
