In Topic, as part of our History learning we have enjoyed learning about significant people.
We began the term with a ‘special letter’ from Sir David Attenborough asking us to help him to find out about Africa.
We finished the first half term by writing instructions to explain how to make vegetable soup.
We have been enjoying our literacy work where we have looked at the whole school text called ‘Lift’ and the story of ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’.
We would like to share a few of the exciting activities that we have done this term.
Firstly, in D&T we had great fun making our own fruit kebab!
We have read some fantastic picture books including Mr Big, Stanley’s stick and The Santa Trap.
We have read a fantastic picture book called Journey by Aaron Becker
So far this term the year one children have been very busy!
This term we have completed a lot of cross curricular learning, from science to computing, to literacy and design & technology!

On Monday 8th February Setpoint visited the school to undertake a workshop session with the children in Year 1.
All the KS1 and KS2 children had a great time at their Christmas parties.
