In groups the children were given the opportunity to look at the lorry. They looked at the different parts of the lorry, they got to appreciate its size and they were even allowed to go inside the cab to see how it was operated. He also talked them about road safety and how he needed to be safe when operating his lorry.
Here are some of the comments made by the children;
Seth – “The wheels were big.”
Milo – “I liked holding the steering wheel.”
Hamish – “I liked being up high in the cab.”
Tilly – “I liked beeping the horn!”
Miles – “He told us how to keep safe.”
The children had a lovey time and they would like to thank Mr Gore for showing them his lorry and answering all their questions.
