The School Council

The school council is made up of children from Year 1 to Year 4. The children are elected by their classmates, taking into account who has the skills to represent their views. The school council meets regularly with Mrs Wilby to discuss how to improve our school in line with the School Development Plan and any other ideas the children may have. In addition to this, the school council meet with local councillors annually to find out more about their role and to give their opinions on the local area. They also help to decide how to support different charities throughout the year, such as Children in Need and Comic Relief, and support decisions about how money raised for the school is spent.
