Foundation Stage Blog
So far they have been noticing similarities and differences to sort vehicles that go on the land, in the sky and in the sea.
We explored animal habitats and in art created a wonderful habitat collage.
We became animal detectives and learnt about the features of animals. We learnt that animals camouflage themselves to protect themselves from predators. As part of our learning, we went to Hertfordshire Zoo and had a lovely time seeing lots of animals. We loved the stripy zebras and the swinging monkeys. We then explored minibeasts and went on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds. We found worms, woodlice, snails and a bee. We did not find a caterpillar but there were lots of munched leaves! We learnt about the life cycle of a bee, and did lots of wonderful bee crafts including bee hive printing.

Here are some of our favourite things
