I am currently parent governor at Studlands rise first school and have enjoyed the challenges involved in assisting to maintain this friendly, caring and dynamic school.  Through my experience as a Sister at Addenbrookes hospital I feel I have been especially helpful in assisting with recruitment of staff and well-being of both staff and pupils.

I have one child currently at the school and one who has finished at Studlands and gone on to middle school. This has allowed me to see first hand how important good staff and good support for staff allows for the high standards Studlands maintains. I am passionate about helping this lovely school to keep thriving, and helping its pupils on their "first steps on the learning journey."
