I grew up in Letchworth, and after returning to Hertfordshire with a family of my own I was keen to be involved with the local schools and community. As a governor, I aim to both support and challenge the school and its staff to ensure all pupils have the opportunity to reach the best of their ability. I believe these early years at school are incredibly important, and want to help Studlands Rise continue to be a welcoming learning environment that can inspire and encourage. I am particularly interested in supporting mathematics and numeracy at the school, as I have experience in statistics and coding from my own career.

I currently have two daughters at Studlands Rise. My career in the Civil Service has involved data analysis in areas such as educational performance and finance. Outside of work, I love having trips out with my family, enjoying good food, and I’m planning to start playing tennis again (soon!).
