Eco - Schools Award

 

We are an ECO – School. We endeavour to be a sustainable school. We believe our daily actions have a significant impact on our local environment and our world. We have an Eco-Council which meets regularly and has given our children a sense of pride and responsibility in the world in which they live.

Basic Skills Agency Quality Mark

 

The Basic Skills Quality Mark demonstrates that the school has good procedures in place for making sure that all children receive the highest quality of teaching in Literacy and Mathematics.

We have achieved the Hertfordshire Quality Standards which celebrates the quality of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS.) At Studlands Rise we embed a culture of self -evaluation and continual improvement.

Sainsbury’s School Games Gold Award

 

The Sainsbury’s School Games Gold Kitemark demonstrates that sport in our school is given high importance. The Sainsbury’s School Games kitemark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward commitment to the development of competition across the school and into the community.

North East Herts School Sports Partnership Award

 

We are part of the North East Herts School Sports Partnership led by Jan Wood MBE. This allows our pupils to benefit from specialist sports teaching and our staff to benefit from high quality training to support them in their delivery of PE. Our partnership also allows our children to take part in sporting competitions with children from other local schools..

DCMS Activemark Award

 

Our Active Mark was awarded to recognise our commitment to sport and PE throughout the school. This was awarded because at least 90% of children across the school were participating in at least 2 hours of high quality PE and school sport each week.
