The Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children did three fantastic performances of 'Hey Ewe' on Friday 12th, Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December.

Today we held our annual Christmas Church service, which was led by Reverend Heidi Huntley.

Today we all went to see the pantomime 'Aladdin' at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage.  The pantomime was excellent and the children joined in really well with all the cheering, booing and singing!  Everyone enjoyed themselves and we especially liked the laser show as Aladdin flew on his magic carpet. 

 

 

Today the children have taken part in a variety of art and craft activities, making decorations to be displayed before our Christmas Market this Friday.

On Tuesday 4th November 2014, Studlands Rise First School was 40 years old.  We had a lot of fun in assembly as all the previous headteachers returned and told us about how the school has changed over the years.

The Year 2 children did the first class assembly of this school year this afternoon.

On Thursday 17th July our Year 4 had their last full day in school ... and they certainly made the most of it!

On Wednesday 9th July the whole school took part in Race for Life.

On Friday 27th June 2014 we had a whole school trip to Hunstanton.  We all had a great time - even when the rain put in an appearance, it didn't dampen our spirits!

I am very much looking forward to my first Studlands Rise sports day tomorrow, where we should be awash with colour from our four teams - red crabs, yellow sand, blue sea and green seaweed - to link with our visit to the seaside on Friday.
